Executive Producer/Director
DAVID HOCK

David has been involved in the world of entertainment, one way or another, for

more than 40+ years. He earned a BA from UCLA, majoring in theater. Through the

years, having founded regional theater companies in Los Angeles, San Francisco,

Las Vegas, Phoenix and most recently Houston, David has produced, directed, and

choreographed some incredible productions with an impressive list of celebrity

stars including Seymour Glick is Alive but Sick written and co-directed by Steve

Allan, Musical Feat with director/choreographer Thommie Walsh, Pippin starring

Nanette Fabray and Morgan Brittany, Ain't Misbehavin' starring Nichelle

Nichols,  Annie starring Bronson Pinchot and Kaitlin Hopkins, 42nd Street starring

Charles Shaughnessy and Debby Boone, Thoroughly Modern Millie starring Dawnn

Lewis, A Christmas Carol starring Charles Shaughnessy and just prior to the covid

pandemic Man of La Mancha starring the late Peter Scolari. In the 10 years that his

company Scottsdale Musical Theater Company thrived before Covid hit, David's 

list of produced and directed shows included West Side Story, The Producers,

Cabaret, My Fair LadyHello Dolly!, Gypsy, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Annie,

Guys & Dolls, Thoroughly Modern Millie, 42nd Street, The Pajama Game, A

Christmas Carol, Carousel, The Music Man, A Funny Thing Happened....Forum,  

and the southwest premiere of Sondheim on Sondheim.

In 2019, David, together with actor Charles Shaughnessy and director David Shaughnessy, created Dynamic Digital Content Worldwide to provide new content to expanding broadcast platforms reaching an ever increasing global audience.

DDC projects

 

Earlier in his career, David had his own production company, Silver Lining Productions, that developed a number of film and TV projects including a children's TV show Kids Invincible Dream Squad (KIDS) that was a Mission Impossible styled live action/animation project and a family friendly film adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. He also worked in casting on the TV show Punky Brewster and had a personal management division that worked with both acting and modeling clients.
